Dustin Jeffords attended Truett McConnell College (Georgia) on a basketball scholarship. He graduated from Truett McConnell in 2012 with a degree in accounting and went on to receive his juris doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.

Dustin is a member of the Mississippi Bar and has been practicing tax law since his admission. He and his wife Camille are member of the Siwell Road Church of Christ in Jackson, Mississippi.

John graduated from Freed-Hardeman University (Henderson, TN) in 2001 with a B.A. in Bible and B.B.A. in Accounting.He went on to Cumberland School of Law to obtain his J.D. in 2004 along with an MBA at the same time.After law school, John has primarily worked in public service: first as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery, Alabama and most currently as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama.In both these positions he has handled primarily criminal cases, but has also been involved in some civil litigation.While practicing law, he has been able to serve as an adjunct professor at Faulkner University and Jones School of Law and helped establish Jones' Nonprofit Law Clinic.He lives in Montgomery with his wife and two daughters and works with the Dalraida church of Christ as a deacon and bible class teacher.

Gary earned his Bible degree, summa cum laude, from Freed Hardeman University. He then entered law school at Samford University, where he was a member of the Law Review and graduated magna cum laude.

Between college and law school, Gary married his college sweetheart, Michelle Hayes. They have three wonderful children – Lauren, Elizabeth, and Mark.

Since 1998, Gary and Michelle have made their home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Gary has been a minister at the Mountain Creek Church of Christ since 2000 and the regular pulpit minister there since 2004. Since 2001, Gary has owned his own law firm in Chattanooga, serving the underprivileged who have been injured or taken advantage of by others.

Gary learned to wear multiple hats from his parents. His dad worked a full-time job, farmed, and has served as an elder in the Lord’s Church for over 25 years. His mother worked a full-time job, raised children, and taught Bible classes. True to form, Gary owns his own law practice and preaches full-time, including several speaking engagements in lectureships and meetings every year.

Melvin Otey served in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, D.C. as a Trial Attorney in the Review and Policy Unit of the Organized Crime and Gang Section, responsible for reviewing all RICO and VICAR prosecutions nationwide. He also taught at the University of the District of Columbia Law School. Otey now serves as an Associate Professor of Law at the Faulkner University Jones School of Law (Montgomery, AL) and as an adjunct professor at Amridge University. He is married and is the proud dad to two boys.

Matt Vega graduated with honors from Freed-Hardeman University and went on to receive his juris doctorate from Yale Law School in 1993. He is formerly dean and professor of law at theJones School of Law at Faulkner University (Montgomery, AL), Before FHU, Matt served as senior counsel at Federal Express Corporation in Memphis and other companies throughout the Southeast. Matt is married to the former Jennifer Webster and they have three children.
